Hikvision DS-2CD2685G0-IZS (Black) — Specs & Hong Kong Installation

8 MP (4K) DarkFighter motorized bullet — 2.8–12 mm, 50 m IR, 120 dB WDR, IP66 / IK10. Black housing on the Hong Kong listing.

Best for: Outdoor yards, car parks and building perimeters

Product overview

The Hikvision DS-2CD2685G0-IZS is an 8 MP (3840 × 2160) outdoor bullet with Powered-by-DarkFighter low light, a motorized 2.8–12 mm lens, and EXIR illumination to 50 m. The Hong Kong product page lists the black housing.

It records 4K at 20 fps, or 25/30 fps at 4 MP and below, with H.265+ on the main stream. True 120 dB WDR holds detail against shop-front backlight. Smart events cover line crossing, intrusion, unattended baggage, object removal, face detection and scene change.

Swan CCTV uses it where a fixed 2.8 mm bullet is either too wide or too tight: the motorized zoom is set on site for a gate, a loading bay or a long wall, then locked. It needs PoE+ (802.3at), not standard 802.3af.

Hong Kong / local context

Specified from the Hong Kong Hikvision listing for outdoor walls, podiums and car-park lanes where 4K and a varifocal lens matter more than ColorVu white light.

The metal IP66 / IK10 body suits exposed façades. Allow for typhoon-side sealing on the cable gland and the black housing the HK page lists.

Installation notes

Supply PoE 802.3at Class 4 or 12 V DC. Max draw is 14.5 W on 12 V and 18 W on PoE.
Set the motorized 2.8–12 mm lens after the camera is fixed, then confirm the field of view at night under the 50 m IR.
Use the alarm input/output and 3.5 mm audio only if the job needs a contact or an external microphone. The composite video output is for aiming, not for the NVR.
